For all tiles, the Customer should inspect all goods prior to laying to ensure they are the correct color and batch/shade.
All tiles/natural products contain natural variations in color and grain, and cannot be organized or edited – a ‘random lay’ effect is normal.
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the goods sold by the Company may be subject to one or more of the following characteristics and will not be considered faulty, defective, or of unacceptable quality due to the existence of such characteristics:
(a) Crazing, or shade variations, which are an inherent feature of all kiln-fired ceramics and natural stone;
(b) Optical hazing or smudging, which are naturally occurring characteristics of polished porcelain goods;
(c) Reasonable variations in color and veining in marble and granite goods, as these are natural goods and such variations must be expected;
(d) Variations in sizing, weight, color (including changes to color over time), pattern, veining, texture, durability, density, surface, and finish.
PAYMENT
A deposit of 50% minimum is required on all orders. Material will not be ordered until the 50% deposit is received.
Outstanding balances are to be paid 2 working days prior to the day of installation.
MKM Tile retains ownership of the goods supplied on this invoice until payment of the invoice is made in full.
Overdue amounts will be charged at 2.0% per week.
WARRANTY
Ceramic tiles are not guaranteed against cracking, crazing, chipping, or breaking.
Marble and granite tiles are not guaranteed to the extent they are laid, used, or cleaned outside the manufacturer’s guidelines.
The goods are only guaranteed to the extent of any guarantee given by the manufacturer of the goods.
